Eligibility for CHEMCO/ATTCO Course
Because this is an "Advanced" course, candidates must fulfil certain requirements:
Basic Training: You must have a certificate of Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations, BTOCTO/OCTCO.
Sea Service: Generally requires at least 3 months of approved sea service on chemical tankers.
Alternative: Minimum of 1 month onboard training in a supernumerary capacity (including minimum 3 loading and 3 unloading operations).
