Eligibility requirement for Cruise Courses

Requirements for taking Cruise Courses:

• A valid Seafarer’s Discharge Book or CDC is required ;

• The basic STCW schooling needs to be completed (for instance fire-fighting, Basic Safety ).

• You will have to be in compliance with the maritime agency’s age minimum.

• A fully valid medical certificate will be needed.

• A valid passport will be required for each trip aboard.

• Some of the courses may require shipboard experience depending on what role that you fit into onboard a cruise ship.

All of these requirements are critical to ensuring that all crew members taking part on-board cruise line ships have the ability to perform their duties in a safe manner and to maintain the safety of all passengers while under cruise line operations.
