The Marine Engine Room Simulator (ERS-M) course is intended as an advanced level of training in accordance with the standards and requirements established by the STCW. What is Eligibility for ERS-M Course

  • A minimum of English language proficiency is required to comprehend all simulator instructions, alarms, and emergency procedures. 

  • The completion of STCW basic safety training (fire, first aid, and survival techniques) is typically required by all applicants.

The documents that you will need to submit with your application for Engine Room Simulator (ERS-M) Course – MEO Class II - are:

  • A copy of your valid MEO Class IV Certificate of Competency (C.O.C).

  • A copy of your Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) showing all sea service details.

  • A copy of your sea service testimonials from your company.

  • A copy of your valid passport (first and last page).

  • A copy of your INDOS (Indian National Database of Seafarers)/ Seafarer ID number.
