Qualifications for PSCRB
Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must have a minimum age of 18 years.
Basic Training Certificate: Candidates must possess and present a current and valid Certificate of Completion (PST) from an STCW. (A-VI/1-1) Guidelines.
Sea Background Experience: Candidates must have six months' sea service experience that has been approved before certification is awarded. However, a few administrations have approved the substitution of 12 months' quality alternative sea service to count towards the required certification sea service.
