To be considered for PSCRB, candidates must be:
Be a minimum of 18 years old.
Have successfully completed a valid Personal Survival Techniques (PST) course, according to STCW (A-VI/1-1).
Have six months of sea service which is acceptable to the certifying authority in order to qualify for certification. Some authority will permit 12 months of substitute sea service.
Be physically and mentally capable of completing the Practical Exams successfully, supported by a Medical/Fitness Certificate
